So, what is MSS?

- A One-Stop sourcing and procurement house for MRO parts. Buying from one source for multiple brands instead of 1 brand per supplier. This reduces the number of suppliers, hence drastically reduce the number of PO and reduce the interface from various departments (Accounts, Receiving store, Security, Buyers and also the end-users like Technicians/Engineers) with suppliers.

- Provide extensive worldwide sourcing through overseas branches and strategic local and overseas partners. Handle over 200 brands of parts and components.

- Obtain best price-value through bulk purchase and parallel importing for many customers

- Stocking program for critical parts and JIT deliveries

This increases the various department efficiency and effectiveness to focus on more high value products and projects. Eg, Technicians and Engineers should be focusing to increase uptime rather than searching for spare parts.

1. Reduction of number of PO. With fewer PO, the various department (Account, Receiving store, Security, End-User, buyers) need lesser time to manage PO. 

2. Lower transaction cost as Takeiki could invoice on a monthly basis, hence only one TT or wire money comparing to mutliple parts from multiple suppliers. A $50 PO of a single part will incurred similar TT charges to PO of $10,000 of 100 parts.

3. Reduce time for sourcing especially technicians and engineers who should focus on the uptime, while buyers focus on high value products.
